The term Area IV defines the Committee's geographic bounds and which, as designated by the Lake Michigan Sail Racing Federation, is from Benton Harbor to Point Betsie, Michigan.

LMSRF is this region's only yacht racing association officially recognized by US SAILING, the United States Sailing Association.
