DONATION OF YACHT You
can support sail racing and training on Lake Michigan by donating
your yacht to LMSRF. LMSRF is the only charitable foundation, which
uses its assets to further this sport in the Midwest. LMSRF has
received become the leader in accepting boat donations in this region
of the country. Your donation will be used to train sailors, race
officers and judges and will be used to support our sailors through
the Grants-In-Aid program. Check it out! We have a brochure that
will give you all that is necessary to accomplish your gift giving.
We are as discreet as needed at the same time complying with all
of the IRS regulations. To date, we have handled donations from
a Europe Dinghy (Olympic Class) up to a 51' Offshore Sailboat.

SAIL & EQUIPMENT DONATIONS
You are in a unique position to help both LMSRF's
Grants-in-Aid program and yourself through the donation of your
surplus or used sails and other gear.
Nautical Donations (www.nauticaldonations.org)
will handle the sale of any boat gear, used sails and used winches,
with proceeds going to help fund LMSRF's youth and educational programs.
Your contributions are tax deductible upon receipt of the goods
by LMSRF.

forms are available from the LMSRF office. It would be appreciated
if you would send a copy to our office because it often gets delayed
at Nautical Donations.

LIFE MEMBERSHIPS
Life membership is valued at $1,000. You earn the benefits
of LMSRF membership for the rest of your natural life. You join an
elite group of serious sailors who have joined at this level. You
are free from future dues and any dues increases. Your name is maintained
in perpetuity.
BEQUEATH
It's inevitable, we all end up on that race course
in the sky. Sailing needs considerable financing to get to the next
levels to improve the sport. Some of the future concepts that have
no funding that could be brought to reality include an electronic
race starting system that notifies the individual boat that they are
over the starting line or maybe even give a constant readout of the
number of feet behind the line! One ideal offers the ability to give
one sailing school away a year. Can you imagine a club with a good
number of youths and a motivated parent structure that applies for
a dozen sailboats, a safety boat with motor and funds to train and
certify the Club's selected instructor. Then one day a truck pulls
up to that club with an instant sailing school. Right now roughly
18% of Clubs on Lake Michigan have a sailing school. It would be a
great thing to get all Club's on the Lake bringing new sailors into
our chosen sport. We wish that you consider making a percentage contribution
that will help build the fun, relationships, competitions that you
were able to experience in your lifetime and make it available to
