GRANTS-IN-AID PROGRAM UPDATED
Grants Requirements have a number of changes; appllicants need to heed them to guarantee their funding. There are now four application forms to simplify completing applications and to make it clearer for the Grants-in-Aid Committee to consider and make their recommendations. Hover over Grants-in-Aid in right navigation column and choose the correct form. New, important deadiines--be sure to meet them.
2025 LMSRF YOUTH CHAMPIONSHIP SET
Racine Yacht Club is honored to host the 2025 LMSRF Youth Championship. It will be in conjunction withour Andrea T. Regatta. It will be held on Thursday and Friday, July 31 & August 1, 2025. NOTICE OF RACE
For our members our charitable arm provides sailing education; organization and coordination of safe and fair sailboat racing; financial support to competitors to distant major championships; championships for adult & youth; communications; and recognizes greatness in the sport of sailboat racing on Lake Michigan.

LMSRF SETS FIRST JUNIOR SAFETY AT SEA SEMINAR
ON THE GREAT LAKES!
Grand Traverse Yacht Club, Storm Trysail Club, and Lake Michigan Sail Racing Federation announce the first-ever Lake Michigan Youth Safety-at-Sea Seminar to be held at Grand Traverse Yacht Club, Traverse City, Michigan, on Thursday, July 27, 2017. It is open to Junior sailors from programs Lake-wide!
This all-day event is set to make participation of Mackinac Race family youth convenient. Participating youth will need to have a participating Coach, groups of 5-7 youth to one Coach. The intent is a sailing school or Junior program will send an instructor with some of their Junior sailors. If need be, we will work to pair up youth with an appropriate mentor.
Modeled after the adult Safety-at-Sea program, this youth-oriented program, for those aged 12-18, will include classroom time and on the water time in offshore boats that will be provided.
